Sara Hill Honored at WV Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference

Sara Hill, a senior at Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV, was awarded first place in Future Business Executive and fifth place in Business Communication at the West Virginia Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference in Charleston, WV, April 8-9. Hill is the daughter of Connie Baker of Charleston, WV.

The State Leadership Conference provided students the opportunity to compete in business-related competitions, attend educational seminars and workshops, and network with businesses and their peers. Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association for students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields and is the largest business career student organization in the world. Membership in FBLA-PBL provides students with personal and career development opportunities.

Top state winners are eligible to compete for national awards at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA, in June.
