Ruby Stathers Honored at WV Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference

Ruby Stathers, a senior at Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV, was awarded fourth place in Marketing Concepts and eighth place in Management Concepts at the West Virginia Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference in Charleston, WV, April 8-9. Stathers is the daughter of Ray and Lynn Stathers of Marietta, OH.

The State Leadership Conference provided students the opportunity to compete in business-related competitions, attend educational seminars and workshops, and network with businesses and their peers. Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association for students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields and is the largest business career student organization in the world. Membership in FBLA-PBL provides students with personal and career development opportunities.

Top state winners are eligible to compete for national awards at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA, in June.
