Davis & Elkins' Cooper Participates in Production of 'Harvey'

2015 Apr 24

Davis & Elkins College student Dayna Cooper of Parkersburg assisted in the Division of Fine and Performing Arts production of "Harvey," presented at Boiler House Theatre on the College campus, April 22-24 and April 26.

Cooper, a junior at D&E, served as light board operator and worked with scenic construction. "Harvey," the Pulitzer Prize-winning lighthearted comedy, is the story Elwood P. Dowd who insists on introducing his friend Harvey at all of his sister Veta's social gatherings. The trouble is, Harvey is an imaginary 6-and-a-half-foot-tall rabbit.

Cooper is the daughter of Brenda and Kenneth Cooper of Parkersburg, W. Va.
