Davis & Elkins College Student Christopher Young Receives WVIAC Honor

Davis & Elkins College golf team member Christopher Young has been named Scholar-Athlete of the Year on the Commissioner's Honor Roll by the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2011-2012 athletic year. The Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes junior and senior student-athletes who have obtained a 3.3 cumulative GPA at the end of the term in which their sport concluded. The male and female scholar-athletes are those who achieved the highest GPA. Young, an International Marketing major, is the son of John and Kirstine Young of Glasgow, Scotland.
