Agustin Ochoa Honored at Davis & Elkins College Athletic Banquet

The Davis & Elkins College Athletic Department held its 40th Annual Athletic Awards Banquet in The McDonnell Center on Friday, April 13. The banquet was a chance to celebrate the athletic accomplishments of the 14 intercollegiate Senators teams at D&E and recognize outstanding individual athletes.

Presented by Mrs. Jennifer S. Riggleman, Faculty Athletic Representative, The Joseph E. Carroll Leadership Award is given to athletes who exemplify the qualities of courage, leadership and passion that embodied the D&E soccer career of 1969 graduate Joe Carroll. This year, The Joseph E. Carroll Leadership Award was awarded to junior tennis player Agustin Ochoa. Ochoa, a management major, is the son of Carlos Ochoa and Ana Urrea of Medellin, Columbia.
